ENVIRONMENT

BWAROC Funds future projects for People and Nature.

We challenge the threats to nature and help ensure its ability to provide – for the sake of all living things and ourselves.

BWAROC.org partners, projects and experts are reaching out to create a healthy future for our planet.

The Coral Reef, Great Barrier Reef, and Great Barrier Island are projects within our Sea Preservation Master Project. We raise donations that will help the world survive by helping our coral reefs continue to live which helps humans.

Coral reefs protect coastlines from storms and erosion, provide jobs for local communities, and offer opportunities for recreation. They are also are a source of food and new medicines. Over half a billion people depend on reefs for food, income, and protection.

The Reef is threatened! Donate Now:

• Climate change is perhaps the biggest threat to the Great Barrier Reef.
• Warmer ocean temperatures put stress on coral and lead to coral bleaching.
• The Great Barrier Reef has experienced two mass coral bleaching events in 1998 and 2002. Bleaching was more severe in 2002 when aerial surveys showed that over 50% of reefs experienced some coral bleaching.
• Sediment, nutrient and agriculture pesticide pollution from river catchment run-off is also affecting the health of the Great Barrier Reef.
• Donate Now!

Coral reefs have an estimated global value of £6 trillion each year, due in part to their contribution to the fishing and tourism industries and the coastal protection they provide. More than 500 million people worldwide depend on reefs for food, jobs, and coastal defense.

The survival of our planet depends on healthy coral reefs. They’re home to a quarter of the ocean’s marine life, generate clean air and protect vulnerable coastlines from erosion, flooding, and storms. In Australia, our Great Barrier Reef is an irreplaceable and crucial part of our ecosystem – and the global economy.

Saving coral reefs, The Great Barrier, and The Great Barrier Island will save our lives. Donate now!

Despite the high proportions of threatened species, we are working to reverse, or at least halt, the decline in biodiversity.

ROC4OCEANS:

The Coral Reef projects and the Sea Preservation Project
Watch for our announcements in the late fall. We align with non-profits focused on ocean conservation and partners helping preserve marine life.

ROC RED & Endangered Projects:

We are taking action for biodiversity conservation and policy change, critical to protecting the natural resources we need to survive.

Donate now to save the planet

Healthy ecosystems depend on plant and animal species as their foundations. When a species becomes endangered, it is a sign that the ecosystem is slowly falling apart. Each species that is lost triggers the loss of other species within its ecosystem. Humans depend on healthy ecosystems to purify our environment.

Please donate now, keep habitats and landscapes thriving.

The endangered animals’ project is funding to help bring conservationism to endangered species, especially those on the red list. The International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of Threatened Species, founded in 1964, is the world’s most comprehensive inventory of the global conservation status of biological species, which has designated specific animals on this list.

Watch for our new project partnerships announcements. The benefiting charities and causes all focus on our seas and endangered species and make a difference to our livelihoods.

We work with partners at all levels, from community leaders to governments and multinational bodies. Help us do our work. Donate now. We will fund projects to protect the species we all care about.

ROC the Reefs:

The Great Barrier Reef & Coral Reef Project

Save the Great Barrier Reef Project will be announced here and at the BWAROC.org show. We will raise money for the Great Barrier Reef.

Shorelines would be vulnerable to erosion and rising sea levels would push coast-dwelling communities out of their homes, if we do not save the Great Barrier reef, now. Nearly 200 million people rely on coral reefs to safeguard them from storms.

Donate Now, to save humanity and save coral reefs.

While coral reefs only cover 0.0025 percent of the oceanic floor, they generate half of Earth’s oxygen and absorb nearly one-third of the carbon dioxide generated from burning fossil fuels. Coral reefs are dying around the world. Damaging activities include coral mining, pollution (organic and non-organic), overfishing, blast fishing, the digging of canals, and access into islands and bays. Other dangers include disease, destructive fishing practices, and warming oceans.

When you Save Coral reefs, you save humanity.

ROC4LIFE
Water is Life project:

BWAROC.org is aiding clean water projects which focus on improving health, education and empowering families.

We support and aid other NGO’s specializing in ending water scarcity. We are helping non-profits who offer smart solutions that break down financial barriers between people living in poverty and access to safe water and sanitation. We will raise funds and announce the benefitting projects and NGO’s at the Annual BWAROC.org show.

The global goal is to bring water to the world and close the gap between global water demand and supply – this can be accomplished by delivering small, affordable loans which empower families to get access to safe water and sanitation at home.

Stopping the deaths of the nearly one million senseless deaths caused per year from sanitation and hygiene-related diseases can be reduced with access to safe water or sanitation.

EQUALITY

Roc4Artists Program

EQUALITY: Education in the arts and sports:

We believe that education in the arts and sports training should equal opportunities. We know that the underserved have potential talent which can turn into professions given specialized skills training. Potential artists and budding DJs can learn these specific crafts over two weeks in Europe.

We provide a specific seminar to women- ages 15-18 for either the DJ or the fine arts program. Teen boys and girls 15 -18 years of age qualify for arts and DJ programs every other year. Once a year, we provide fine art classes for the elderly 65- years and older.

The Roc4Artist program focuses on learning to paint as refined oil and acrylic paint and learning to DJ.

The” International DJ “program location will be announced soon.
The DJ school partnership is announced here in the fall.

“Monet, Matisse and Me” program is an intensive program focusing on figurative painting. Some teaching will abstract impressionism and work in a contemporary exploration way, like the later works of Matisse. We visit museums and unique locations such as the Chapelle Saint Pierre de Villefranche, France (in the French Riviera)

Experienced exemplary art teachers and painters teach in a studio and in “Plein air “in the South of France to teach underprivileged teens to become fine art painters. The program is an intensive 10-day program. Medium varies in acrylics, oils, or watercolors and is a fall-winter and spring program.

We will help you submit your art to compete in the art poster contest for the Cannes Film Festival.

Our Finale of the 14-day session showcases DJ music with the fine art show.
